Volunteers contribute a great deal to Barstow Community Hospital (BCH). Barstow Community Hospital's Auxiliary members perform a variety of services that contribute to the exceptional health care we deliver. Services provided by our volunteers include delivering mail and flowers, operating the gift shop and information desk, as well as assisting patients' families. On January 29, 2011, Barstow Community Hospital's Auxiliary was named the 2010 "Organization of the Year" for their outstanding contribution to not only the hospital but to the entire Barstow community during the Barstow Area Chamber of Commerce's Community Recognition Awards banquet.
